What we collect

We don't ask visitors for any personal information.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that sent you here, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. It uses cookies to do this.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel keeps standard server request logs, such as IP address and browser user agent, when someone visits a page.

If a business emails us at support@hotlaprentals.com to be listed, we receive whatever they choose to send, such as contact details, photos, and pricing.

How we use it

Vercel uses server logs to run the site and keep it secure.

We use Google Analytics data to see which pages are useful and improve the site.

We use information a business sends us only to create or update its listing.

We don't sell or rent anyone's information.

Third parties and links

When you contact a rental owner or event organizer, you do it directly, through their own website, email, or phone. Hot Lap Rentals isn't part of those conversations or transactions. Their own privacy policies apply.

The site links to other websites. We don't control those sites, and their own policies apply once you leave hotlaprentals.com.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. We don't use advertising cookies.

Google explains how it uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices

You don't need to share any information to use the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also stop Google Analytics from collecting your data with Google's opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you're a listed business, email support@hotlaprentals.com to update or remove your listing or the information you sent us.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
